Introducing the RRUFF Healing Heroes Program

RRUFF is partnering with 4Paws2Freedom to provide service dog training to disabled military veterans.  Our fundraising goals for this program are to provide scholarships to deserving veterans to help them find their dog, and provide the training from puppy, to adult, to certification.  The outdoor program will be held at the RRUFF Dog Park Special Needs Area.  We are still looking for an indoor location.  If you know anyone who has 1,000-1,500 sq feet of space to donate, email  rruff@rocklindogpark.org  Classes should begin late fall 2014.  Watch for our new page dedicated to providing information on this amazing program!

The book is available for pre-order and would make a wonderful holiday gift for that special child in your life.  If you pre-order you will receive a 10% discount off the price of $16.99.   Place your pre-order by email rruff@rocklindogpark.org  books will be available for sale at the event

Sunday, December 7  1:00 - 4:00 p.m. Rocklin Event Center, 2650 Sunset Blvd.   Luis will share the story of his road to recovery with his best friend and partner, Tuesday, by his side.  Luis is a hightly decorated, retired 17 year Captain in the U.S. Army who was severly injured in Iraq.   Many of our veterans suffer from the same PTSD and TBI issues as Luis and we want to be the catalyst that helps give them hope for the future.  Luis' talk will be about one hour with Q&A and book signing & photos to follow. This is a FREE program.    If you wish to pre-order your book  "Until Tuesday:  A Wounded Warrior and the Golden Retriever Who Saved Him" you will receive a 10% discount off the price of $23.00.  Place your pre-order by email rruff@rocklindogpark.org  books will be available for sale at the event

We will provide more information and details on both programs as the date gets closer.   RRUFF needs sponsors for these two programs.  If you or your business are interested in being a sponsor, email  or call Vicki Curtis at rruff@rocklindogpark.org   916 435-0196
